SkinChemists Caviar Skincare Trio

SkinChemists Caviar Skincare Trio

I love hearing about new and upcoming products, especially with ingredients that are different to your usual products. So the SkinChemists Caviar Trio was right up my street.

The Caviar range has a day cream, night cream and a serum. All containing Caviar.

I have never seen skincare containing Caviar before so this was intriguing and something I have been using over the Christmas period.

Products in this range are designed to smooth and hydrate the skin, which is what my skin really needs.

Winter has ruined my skin and it’s so dry, started to crease slightly, I expected from the dryness. So of course it looks and feels, well, awful.

I will review each product separately to talk about them in more detail.

Advanced Caviar Facial Serum

The packaging for this is so lovely, it’s a large tube and looks so expensive.
With a mother of pearl style look to the packaging, with hints of chrome.

It’s a very easy to use pump, one pump brings out enough product to cover your face.

The scent to this is quite different, not what I expected from a caviar laden product.
I found it was quite a floral scent, really nice and refreshing. Certainly soothing.
The entire range has the same scent and really liked it.

Texture wise, this is really silky and found it absorbed rapidly, leaving skin smooth and ready for moisturiser.

No tackiness or residue is left behind.

Hydration is certainly the main benefit of the serum for me, straight away my skin was no longer tight and felt so soft and smooth.

Advanced Caviar Day Moisturiser

Again, packaging is amazing. It comes in a large chrome ball that is easy to open and close. Keeping the product nice.

Same gorgeous scent as the rest of the products, soothing and calming. The rose comes through on these products.

This is the lighter of the 2 moisturisers but it absorbs rapidly and leaves no residue on my skin.

I found this left a slightly matte complexion which was perfect for make up application, no need for a primer either.

No clogging of pores either, this is very light and refreshing. Perfect for a base or alone.

Hydration again is key with this, my skin was instantly hydrated and dryness had gone. No patches of dryness with my make up either.

Advanced Caviar Night Moisturiser

Same packaging as the day moisturiser, a nice big chrome ball.

Same beautiful floral, rose like scent.

This is a heavier moisturiser and leaves a slight residue over the face which works over night to expertly hydrate and smooth my skin.

This is not greasy, but feels so good. Silky and soothing, this helped so much with my sore, red skin.

Final Thoughts

These 3 products were amazing as a trio. The scent together wow, it’s just me. I love floral and rose style scents.

I found I had instant hydration without the greasy feel after, the serum and day cream absorbed right way leaving a nice matte finish without the dryness and the night cream worked over night, by morning there was no product left but a nice, soft skin.

After 3 days, I noticed absolutely no dry patches at all. Even my spots have started to clear up.

After a week, pores looked slightly smaller. Found when applying make up with no primer, there was less holes around my face.

Redness was nowhere in sight, this is something I struggle with quite often.
My skin tone was looking more even and spider veins were not as prominent.

After one month, the difference of my complexion is amazing.

No redness, smooth, even skin tone and the texture I have usually on my face was so refined.
Pores looked minimised and certain spots on my face like chin/jowels, around the eyes started to look less aged.

It’s a wonderful skin care set and looking to purchase as gifts for my family.

What do you think about using caviar as a skincare product? Would this be something you would try?
