Bio-Essence 24K Bio-Gold Product Review

Gold in products is new to me. I have heard about them however I have never tried them before. So when I got sent Bio-Essence 24K Bio-Gold products to try, I was so excited and used them straight away.

What I love about these products is the matte effect. I will explain more, but I have combination skin and issues with t-zone becoming slightly oily when I wear make up.

I do use matte products on my face as I prefer not to use a powder over my foundation.
My favourite foundations are matte.

2 of the products I received are the Bio-Essence 24K Bio-Gold Miracle Finisher and the Bio-Essence 24K Bio-Gold Gold Water.

The Bio-Essence 24K Bio-Gold Miracle Finisher seals in prior skincare and leaves a matte finish. Also protects from harmful pollutants and anything that could irritate or damage your skin.

The Bio-Essence 24K Bio-Gold Gold Water tightens, firms, radiates, moisturises and illuminates the skin, leaving a matte finish also.

Both of these products are amazing and here is why.

Bio-Essence 24K Bio-Gold Miracle Finisher

This comes in a little bottle that is easy to use. Gold accents on top and bottom and is made of plastic.
There is an almost clear, gold coloured lid.

The pump is gold with a white nozzle.
One pump of this is enough to cover the skin so doesn’t dispense loads of product either.
This saves wastage.

Consistency is nice, it’s a medium-thick consistency and white in colour. There is very small golf flecks throughout the cream which you can’t see once applied to the skin.

Scent wise, this is very lovely. It’s almost like a bubblegum crossed with perfumey scent, very light and pretty. The scent does dissipate quite quickly.

Massaging into the skin is very easily, you use this after you cleansed, toned and moisturised.
I like that there is absolutely no product roll off either.
Absorbs rapidly and leaves skin smooth, matte and primed ready for my make up.

I found my skin had a slight radiance to it which did show through my foundation. I looked luminous without using a luminizer underneath.
It’s not as strong as a luminizer but you can see the radiance slightly.

Sometimes my skin can get irritated with foundation, but I had absolutely no irritation when using this so it’s a very good barrier for your skin.

I had no use for a primer after using this.

Bio-Essence 24K Bio-Gold Gold Water

Packaging for the gold water is very lovely.
A glass container and a gold lid which is plastic.
There is a little stopper in the top to stop the product from leaking. This saves you from having the water everywhere.

There is a slight perfumed scent to the water which is very nice. It’s almost like a slight aftershave scent. I really like it.

Consistency is slightly thicker than water, but it melts into the skin very easily.
Absorbing straight away and leaving skin smooth, matte and the gold creates a little radiance.

The more I used this gold water, the more radiant my skin became.
I totally lack radiance, however this did give me a little glow.

It created the perfect base for my moisturiser and created a barrier to protect my skin.

You only need a little of this product as it does go a long way.

After a week of use, my skin felt firmer and could see my pores were shrinking slightly.
I have some big pores especially around my cheeks however I could see them shrinking a little.

After 2 weeks there was a huge difference on my skin.
I could see my skin was certainly firmer and pores were minimal. Along with using an exfoliator and face masks, I could shrink my pores so they were less noticeable when I wore make up.

Final Thoughts

I found these products work so well as a team and I am going to purchase the rest of the range so I have the entire collection.

This has changed my outlook on gold products.

I love the matte effect that both products left, I had the perfect base for make up and did not need an additional primer.

I would highly recommend these products and will be a permanent feature in my skincare regime.
