M&S Red Diamond Strawberry Overnight Oats Recipe

We were invited along to check out the farm, to learn about their partnership with M&S and of course eat some amazing Red Diamond Strawberries! The reason for this visit was to emphasise how M&S establish relationships with regional growers. From farm to fork M&S provides delicious seasonal produce to customers at great value, including strawberries. We learnt that Haygrove have been working with M&S for 15 years and in that time have worked very hard with M&S to establish a growing season from March to November in the UK. This can sometimes stretch into December if everything goes to plan.

It was incredible to visit the poly tunnels at Haygrove. The strawberries are now grown on table tops to make them easier to pick. We were told that a picker can pick almost triple they can than if they were picking from ground height. This setup is also much better for posture/their backs, so there are less problems. Although after our go, I really do appreciate the job of a fruit picker much more, but then again I am 5ft 2! Some of the strawberries were a bit of a reach for me!

As part of this campaign Chris Baber has teamed up with M&S this summer to celebrate the best of British produce. He has created delicious new recipes perfect for the whole family. Travelling the country meeting M&S Select Farmers to come up with them, and I’m lucky that I got to do the same with strawberries. To showcase the amazing M&S Red Diamond Strawberries I’m going to share a Strawberry Overnight Oats Recipe. This is Chris’ recipe, but slightly modified.
